Avocados contain an incredible amount of essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. Your skin is greatly affected upon your diet. For healthy skin add half an avocado to your smoothie or protein shake daily. How to make an avocado smoothie? This is one of my personal favourite recipes try it out:
½-1 cup of liquid (Almond milk (unsweetened) or, coconut water, or water)
½ Avocado (added good fats from this superfood)
Frozen fruit of your choice up to the top of the liquid (frozen makes it slushier)
A handful of greens for added nutrients – you really won’t really taste it (spinach, kale)
Optional boosters:
1 Tbs of each Chia and hemp seeds for added antioxidants
Protein powder or almond butter
Optional sweetener (honey, agave, maple syrup)
